On the day of the shoot you will be need to sign the following:

Model Release
1) COPYRIGHT AND OWNERSHIP OF MATERIALS. The entire copyright in the
Photographs including ownership of all materials is retained by the Photographer at all
times. In the absence of a Rights to Use, such license having been specified in writing
by me, there is no usage granted whatsoever. Any changes to the usage rights
required must be negotiated with Paul M. Sargent. Where Photographs are stored
electronically by the client, they must be erased at the conclusion of the agreed usage
period. Any online display must also be removed.
2) RIGHTS TO USE. The Licence to Use comes into effect only when a signed ‘Rights
to Use’ contract has been given. The period of usage commences from date of Rights
to use for an indefinite time.. Where use is restricted in the License to Use, permission
to use the Photographs for other purposes (Media) will normally be granted upon full
payment of a further fee, to be agreed with Paul M. Sargent. The Licence to Use only
applies to the client and shall not be assigned to any third party without the
Photographer's permission. Accordingly, even where any form of ‘All Media Licence' is
granted, the Photographer's permission must be obtained before any use of the
Photographs for other purposes e.g duplication, editing, printing, the use on any
websites, for sale or reward by the client or third party.
3) SAFETY: Cabling causing trip hazards & Hot Studio lighting can cause harm. You
agree to ensure the safety of any pets and all within your party as Cherishedphotos.
net won’t be held responsible for any injuries.
4) REQUEST FOR REMOVAL: If requested you must remove all images from online,
electronic storage or any other means where you or a third party hold a copy.
5) LIMIT OF LIABILITY: In the unlikely event the photographer is injured, becomes too
ill, or has an extreme emergency that prevents him from photographing or processing
Cherished-Photos.net will make every effort to reschedule the event. If for whatever
reason this is not possible, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all
payments received for the package purchased. Cherished-Photos.net takes the
utmost care with respect to exposure, transportation, and processing the photographs.
However, in the unlikely event that photographs have been lost, stolen, or destroyed
for reasons within or beyond Cherished-Photos.net liability is limited to the return of all
payments received for the session.
6) COOPERATION: The parties agree to cheerful cooperation and communication for
the best possible result within the definition of this assignment. Cherished-Photos.net
is not responsible if key individuals fail to appear or cooperate during photography
sessions or for missed images due to details not revealed to Cherished-Photos.net.
7) TIME KEEPING: Cherished-Photos.net will keep your photoshoot within your
agreed time package and will advise if this will overrun and provide details of any
extra charges before proceeding any further.
8) ARCHIVING OF IMAGES: The client has the right to request at any time all images
are permanently deleted from archives and/or from any form of advertising and agrees
to pay the fee set by Cherished-photos.net.

9) SOCIAL WEBSITES: Any use of the images on social sites (i.e. Facebook) by
yourself or a third party must have recognition of Cherished-Photos.net displayed
either in the photo itself or free associated text field. Failure will be in breach of the ©
Copyright. If you wish to use the photos without the recognition there will be a release
fee for this.

10) THIRD PARTY SERVICES: Cherished-Photos.net will not be held liable for any
services carried out by a third party such as a makeover or hair stylist.
11) COPY OF CONTACT: A printed copy of this contract is available on request and
£15 fee paid.
12) PAYMENT: Balance to be made prior to the shoot commencing.
13) FTP/TFP (Free Time Photos/Time for Print), Discount Shoots for my portfolio,
Competition Winners : The Client agrees ALL images can be used in advertising, for
sale and online display regardless of format. Discount Shoots for my portfolio will
entitle you to 1 free photo per outfit with the option to purchase the whole set at a
reduced cost of a normal shoot. Established models will receive 6 images per hour as
part of FTP/TFP. Competition winners please refer to the offer.
14) Regular Photos: I agree for the use of Any photos taken today to be used by
Cherished-photos.net for advertising or online display.
15) Pictures of under 18’s: As the Parent or Guardian I agree for the use of Any
photos taken of my under 18’s to be used for advertising or online display. These are
not offered for public sale.
16) Boudoir / Maternity Photos: I agree for the use of Any photos taken of me to be
used for advertising or online display in any format.
17) Cancellation of FTP/TFP Agreement or Competition Winner shoot: If after the
shoot you decide you don’t want any of the photos used online or for advertising the
normal full fee will be required and your images will be permanently deleted. In
addition a charge way be applied for any re- advertising costs.
18) Client agrees Images may be used for sale to the public or for media use. If this is
not the case the client MUST advise by email to studio@cherished-photos.net
19) Images are for personal use only. If required for anything else a further release is
required and possible fee paid.
20) This contract covers today and all future shoots.

Any special terms which have been changed by the client since the shoot will require
compensation payment by the client as signed in this contract.
